Kelly Bennett (AAM – Accredited Automotive Manager)
Kelly Bennett launched his public speaking career in Calgary, Alberta Canada in 1987. It all started with a workshop entitled Starting A Successful Business. This workshop instantly became successful and Kelly taught that workshop in over 153 cities in every province and territory in Canada.
Kelly then wrote and taught other workshops; Marketing for Success, Developing a Winning Business Plan, Money for Business (Obtaining Grants, Subsidies and Financing for Business) and over a dozen other workshops.
In 1991 Okanagan College in Kelowna, British Columbia contacted Kelly to have him instruct for their Automotive Management program. This launched Kelly into management training for independent automotive shops. In 1994 Kelly was contracted by a large Canadian parts company to launch their management training program throughout Canada. Kelly’s reputation spread and it wasn’t long before large North American companies, organizations and associations (see Client List) in the United States requested Kelly to conduct workshops, seminars and speak at conferences.
He has become one of North America’s top automotive industry trainers. He is an Automotive Management Institute (AMI) Approved instructor and has taught over 2,500 workshops to tens of thousands of business owners and their employees. He also writes the very popular Management SOS column in Canadian Technician magazine (see Articles Section).
Kelly has become known as “the entertrainer”. He simply has the ability to keep his audience’s attention whether it is a 4 hour or 4 day workshop. The bottom line is when you attend a Kelly Bennett session, you are going to have fun, laugh, learn a lot and be motivated, but most importantly you will be inspired!
His passion for people and strong desire to see people reach their management and leadership potential, in business and in life, causes Kelly to not only be a trainer, but a student. Kelly lives on an acreage near Cochrane, Alberta, Canada with his wife and 3 children and pet lizard.
